Snow is for....Biking?
What do bikers do when it snows? Well, some would turn to skiing or snowboarding, but that is pricey $$$. The poor folk just wait for the hikers to pack down the trails, and head out for a ride. Don't forget a camera with a timer so you can take a self portrait for proof!

This post is a little overdue. This video was from a dirt jump contest Von did a few weeks ago in Moab. We packed up the truck on Sat afternoon and headed down. Found a sweet little camping spot off Cane Creek road (in the dark of night) and settled in for the evening. The cold morning was made more bearable by the look on Isaac and Raleigh's faces when they woke up and saw the huge cliffs we were camped under...
Immediately they put their shoes on, still in jammies and ran up the hills...

Our big project for the weekend was a video for Isaac's school project. He doing the project on riding his bike. So off to the skatepark we went. After getting some footage, we headed to the bike shop to edit the video. Despite Von having an off moment and deleting the sound we had brought over, the video finally was completed. Hopefully he gets an A on the project. -Von-

On Tue night we headed to the Rise Against concert at The Saltair. After some very slight direction difficulties, we arrived in plenty of time to hear 2 of the 3 opening bands, and then Rise Against. After finding a totally sweet spot to view the show, we proceeded to make fun of the guy in front of us with a faux hawk, 4 layers of shirt/hoodie/sweatervest attire, and his oh so cheery girlfriend with bleached blonde hair. Rise Against put on an amazing show. It's unfortunate that bands have to make their cd's sound so mellow now to appeal to the masses (ie - faux hawk yahoo) and make their money. I used to wonder what the draw of a live show was? Sweaty, smelly yahoo's dancing all over crazy and way too loud music (getting old sucks). Now that I am not afraid of being killed or arrested (Slayer concert?) I have a better appreciation of a live performance. Good times...
